The current financial and economic crisis has highlighted once again that there is a wide range of issues concerning governance which need to be researched and theorised. There has been much recent work looking at governance around the world and from a variety of perspectives. Nevertheless there is a lot of potential work in this area. It is intended to take the broadest view of both organisations (ie beyond corporations) and of governance. The broader aspects of governance include such things as:
